I am the author of the Drowntown trilogy -- YA novels that trace the adventures of two teenagers hurtled into the mysterious world between earth and eternity: a drowned New York City, a canal city of pirates, slavemasters and unholy monsters. The first, Drowntown Girl, was published in 2023. I am a New York-based former managing editor of magazines on the subjects of wine, chocolate, pastry, health, movies and videogames, plus comic books such as Vampirella. My previous novels include Vampire Nights (Pinnacle Books, 1989) and The Geezer Elite (CreateSpace, 2010). I was co-author of a pantsload of nonfiction: Chocolate Passion (John Wiley & Sons, 1999) and the Grand Finales series of pastry books published by Wiley and Van Nostrand Reinhold, including Grand Finales: The Art of the Plated Dessert (1997) and the Wine Enthusiast Wine & Food Pairings Cookbook (Running Press, 2008).
